Joint Patrons
Your chance to be at the heart of our work, making a huge difference and supporting access to activities and events to those who most need it.
Your contributions direct support our high quality programmes, help us build our audiences, and provide leverage for support from other funders. We cannot underestimate the power of demonstrating that individuals like you are keen to invest in us.
This highest level of support also offers the highest level of benefit; our way of saying thank you.
To become a Joint Patron for a year, we ask for a minimum individual donation of £700 for two of you at the same address. This enables us to
• Deliver theatre, film and live events that would otherwise not be possible due to financial risk. 40% of your donation goes directly to subsidise and fund artistic and community events that we otherwise could not afford to bring to Wells
• Invest in the future of Wells Maltings as a powerhouse for arts, heritage and community activity. 30% of each Patron donation will be used to support the delivery of events and wider programming by contributing to our overheads.
• Fund the Patrons’ Pool – an initiative to reach audiences who would otherwise not be able to access our events and activities. Contributions from Patrons will enable us to offer up to 10 tickets for each event that we present to local young people or those under economic stress in our community either at low cost, or completely free
In return for your support you will receive all the benefits of being a Maltings Friend, plus
• Exclusive access to Patrons’ dinners and receptions throughout the year
• Your name in lights – if you agree, we’ll feature your name on a roll of honour on our information screens front of house, on our website, and within formal publications
• Knowledge that you are making a huge difference to how we sustain our operations, deliver our work, and give access to our work to as many people in our community as possible
To be a Patron for a year requires a gift of at least £500 (that’s less than £10 a week), and we’d love to discuss donations of more than this if you feel able.
